The Purple Feast continues - natural and man-made Crystals

I have a great love for all sorts of crystals - be it real ones from the mineral section or glass. Like a kid I am somehow fascinated by everything that is transparent and actually lives from light. And so the idea was born to do some research on purple crystals etc. 

This is what I found - a lovely collection of transparent and shiny little things in various shades of purple - which I find could be highly inspirational for any creative person:

Nature's Purple Feast - Blooms and Blossoms

After so many colour codes and colour wheels etc. I think it is time to concentrate on the natural purples you can find in blooms and blossoms...

Of course nearly every bloom of these examples contains various hues and shades of purple. This feast of colours is Mother Nature's treasure, which never ceases to be the largest well of inspirational colour creations...
